A picture really is worth a thousand words…

By 6th June 2017September 17th, 2018Pearl Knowledge

The human brain reacts very differently to images than it does to language. Our brain will process visual elements 60,000 times faster than it does the written word, which it must decode in a linear manner, ultimately taking longer.

We are all visual creatures, and therefore first impressions during the online buying experience are key to increasing those ‘add to basket’ clicks. We make our minds up about a product within seconds – we either want to know more, or we skip straight past it. So high quality beautiful product photography is a must for any ecommerce venture.

Here at Raw Pearls we are excited to be able to provide professional product photography with many of our customer orders. Pearl jewellery is widely known to be the most difficult type of jewellery to capture accurately in image form, therefore we are proud to be able to supply beautiful professional imagery for our customers.

Our product photographs capture the colour, lustre, shape and quality of the pearls beautifully. With clean white backgrounds and no watermarking or branding, these images can then be used on any of our customer’s websites. Available in both high and low resolution, they can be used in many ways – whether on social media, or even in our customer’s own brochures or other print marketing materials.

We are currently busy working towards building our image bank so that a broader section of our range is photographed and catalogued, therefore making our customer’s ordering experience smooth, transparent and fast.

Helping our customers to make sales is so important to us, so we are also able to offer assistance in other areas of web sales. Whether that be providing commercial yet accurate product descriptions or proofing your existing online pearl information to ensure it is accurate, we are happy to help.

High quality product photography is a key conversion tool, and we all know that our relationship with jewellery is a visual love affair, so providing a stunning photographic record of this is a current and highly important priority, one which we are very proud to be constantly evolving in.
