Welcome back to Raw Pearls Lucy!

Lucy at IJL with us in 2016
Lucy Davies is returning to our close-knit team, 12 years after she first joined us! She will be taking on the role of Marketing and Sales Assistant.
She started working for us as a full time pearl stringer back in 2005 but left us for university in Cardiff in 2008. Whilst there she completed a degree in Photography and Media. After leaving University she built up an impressive pool of experience and has gained a strong and varied skill set through freelance photography and jewellery work, and in the heritage and third sectors. She has since gained masses of experience in marketing and sales.
Since leaving us in 2008 she has remained in contact and been a support to us during busy periods. She has also supported us at the International Jewellery London shows over the last few years, and this year’s show will mark her official return to us on a permanent basis.
As Marketing and Sales Assistant Lucy will help build our sales support for customers in this brave new world of online business. She will also be responsible for, among other things, educational training, podcasts, website imagery and vlogs and we are also excited to announce that she will provide us with beautiful professionally shot images of our products which we will then be able to offer our customers for their own websites.

Lucy lives in Monmouthshire countryside with her PR Consultant Husband, Noel, their springer spaniel Daisy and the newest member of the family, Poppy. Lucy and Noel have recently been through the process to adopt Poppy, who is now 20 months old. Lucy enjoys spending time with her family, walking, running, and doing anything creative!
We are thrilled to be welcoming Lucy back, it’s fantastic to have someone fill this role who we have known and trusted for such a long time. Lucy is highly experienced and well versed in pearl farming processes and pearl stringing, and is currently familiarising herself with our new products. We are a family business with a close-knit team and we are all very excited to have Lucy back on board.
